Queenstown Airport Community Fund

The Queenstown Airport Community Fund reflects Queenstown Airports ongoing committment to supporting local community and aligns with its broader sustainability objectives.  

​

Through this initiative, Queenstown Airport aims to create meaningful and lasting impact by empowering grassroots organisations that contribute to the well being of the regions people and environment.  

​

The fund is worth $50,000 annually and is available for organisations doing great work to support our communities. Not-for-profits operating in the Queenstown-Lakes and Central Otago districts are eligible to apply to the fund. 

​

Amount of fund Available

$50,000 per year. Amount granted will range from $1000 to $5000. 

​

Purpose: 

Funds will be prioritised to organisations working to support community in the following ways  

  • Community well-being and support

  • Conservation, environment and sustainability

  • Sport and recreation that brings people together 

​

Eligibility: 

Location: Not for profits based in QLDC and CODC regions, OR if a national organisation, the funds need to benefit the communities in these territories. 

Organisation Type: Charitable organisations, Incorporated societies, Maori authorities, Schools or an organisation registered with NZ Charities Services. 

​

Exclusions: 

  • Individuals are not able to apply

  • Political organisations, religious activities, or lobby groups. 

  • Facilities or services which are usually the responsibility of central or local government

  • Projects without a clear community benefit

  • Projects that have already commenced, or operational costs that have occurred in the past.

Applications are open from 2nd March to 5pm 7th April 

Funds will be awarded in June

2. Read through the application questions and assembel the required infomration and documents 

3. Complete your budget spreadsheet 

4. Complete your application before 7 April 2025
