Love Queenstown & Love Wanaka Community Funds
Love Queenstown and Love Wanaka Community Funds raise funds and awareness for grassroots environmental action – ensuring we can all play our part in looking after Queenstown’s one-of-a-kind environment. Whether you’re a visitor, a local, a business owner, or a passionate changemaker, your support can make a world of difference.
Each year funds will be delivered back to the Whakatipu and Wanaka communities in the form of grants, and a smaller percentage invested into endowment funds which will provide for both communities in perpetuity.
80% of the fund is used to make impact grants annually to make positive local impact now, with the balance used to build an endowment fund to protect our regions future forever.
Applications are invited from organisations working in the conservation and sustainability arena annually in July.
ZQN Community Fund
The Queenstown Airport Community Fund reflects Queenstown Airports ongoing committment to supporting local community.
The fund grants $50,000 annually to grassroots organisations that contribute to the wellbeing of the regions people and environment, throughout the QLDC and CODC districts.
Funds are prioritised to organisations working to support community in the following ways

Applications are open annually in March with grants available in June.
The fund is administered on behalf of Queenstown Airport by 45South Foundation.
Impact100 Whakatipu
Impact100 Whakatipu makes grants of at least $100,000 annually to local charities operating in the Whakatipu.
Supporters donate $1000 each between February and April each year, with the amount available to grant announced in late May. This varies each year depending on the number of women who have donated to the fund.
Key dates for 2026:
Expressions of Interest open 21 May and close 30 June
Full applications (by invitation only) close 18 August
Finalists announced 23 September
Grant winners decided by vote and announced 29 October.
