Spirit of the Wakatipu

The 2024 Spirit of the Wakatipu Awards and Gala will be held on Saturday 19 October at the Events Centre in Queenstown. There is no doubt the spirit of giving is a force that brings communities together for the common good. There are literally countless individuals, groups and organisations who give of themselves, their time and their money to help make our community a better place. This is the Spirit of the Wakatipu: Tiaki o Tahuna - To Care for the People and the Place of Queenstown. The Spirit of the Wakatipu Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate those individuals, organisations, groups and corporate entities who put their hand up and contribute in a philanthropic way to the Wakatipu community and who hold true to the values that collectively define what is unique about the place we call home.
